Nick Nihira: Nick creates paintings, collages, and digital works that are predominantly abstract while utilizing representational images as supporting compositional elements. He works with a range of traditional, digital and found media. Nick has a BFA from The Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, OH and an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He currently teaches Art/Graphic Design at Jefferson College and is owner of KneeHigh Prints, a screen-printing and art services company. Nick’s websites: www.nicknihira.com www.kneehighprints.com Dustin Owens: Dustin Owens only goes by that name by day. He is currently going to school to be a high school art teacher. He graduated from Mineral Area College with an Associate of Arts in Teaching and is now going to Southeast Missouri State University to finish his degree. His hobbies include listening to music, drawing, and taking a bite out of crime. At night he dresses up in a cape and tries to clear the streets of evil do-ers. He likes to call himself: Velcro Man! (You might have heard of him: “Never Fear, Velcro Man is here!”) It’s tough trying to keep his identity a secret, but it’s worth the risk to keep his community safe. Him and his sidekick, Yarn Boy, won’t rest until all of the villains are put behind bars. Emma Holmes: Emma specializes in neo-traditional tattoo style watercolor. She is attending MAC, as an art major and is an aspiring tattoo artist. Hope to see you there! |
