Jack by BB Dakota’s Holiday Item’s

The Holiday collection for the brand Jack by BB Dakota has just come in this week. The selection we have at Glik’s is full of cute day and night wear for the upcoming season. There are tons of warm, fabulous coats to wear over these great outfits too!

All of these items reflect trends that have been non-stop this season.

The first item is the Renee coat. Its black, plush and fastens with two buttons right at the waist. The shoulders are structured and there is one small pleat going around the middle.

As I have mentioned before faux fur is a huge trend this winter. It’s been all over the runways and looks amazing as a vest or trimming for a collar. From this collection we have a brown fur vest called the Donna. The vest has two clasps to keep it closed for cold weather. Wear this to spice up a simple jeans and t-shirt look or layer it over a simple dress.

The Cecy Bomber  jacket is a puffer jacket with a faux fur collar that is shaped like a motorcycle jacket. This jacket is not only warm, but also is totally fabulous. It combines the Moto trend and the fur trend together. It is made out of a shiny, puffy material which brands like Prada have been using on their coats this season. Could this jacket get any better? It definitely can! The arms zip off, so you can also wear it as a vest. In my opinion, it’s the perfect jacket for the season.

The Prissy dress looks like the perfect party dress whether it’s for the holidays, or even New Years. Its black, form fitting, has a rouched top half, and front zipper. Worn with black sheer tights and a great pair of pumps, this outfit is ready for a night out!

Like I have mentioned before, tweed skirts are making a fabulous come back this season. The Lance skirt is a multicolored tweed mini skirt with two zipper pockets. Wear this to school or work with tights and a plain t-shirt. It is also great for dinner with a nice button up.

Taking style notes from the hit TV show Gossip Girl, the Blaire sweater is named after the Queen Bee herself. The sweater is made from French Terry, which means it’s both warm and comfortable. Worn over a skirt like Blaire would do, or over jeans with a big scarf for a cold winter day.

The Aleena dress is the best way to wear the tulle trend this holiday season. With a heather grey top connected to a blush colored tulle bottom, this dress is sweet and sophisticated.

Our hottest item this season, that we can hardly keep in stock is the Romaine plush coat. It’s thick, soft and totally fabulous. Not only will it keep you warm but it also will keep you in style with it’s trench style shape and high neck. It’s cinched at the waist to show off your shape, which is amazing because most warm coats are too big and puffy to show it.

Another coat from the Jack collection, that is so hot and was featured in Vogue Magazine is the Ellen coat! The Ellen coat is a plaid printed plush coat. Don’t worry though, it’s not priced like the rest of the items in the magazine, you can have the look of  being in Vogue with a Glik’s price tag.
