Magical, Mystical San Francisco

Close your eyes and imagine a whimsical, special place. What are you thinking? A childhood dream come to life? A sacred spot you discovered as an adult? A completely unique place that’s all your own?

San Francisco has always been a place where dreams come true. SF is woven into everything CMD creates, and insistent inspiration finds us where ever we roam. A recent stroll through The Mission reminded us of this and put a smile on our face for days. Fairy Doors have taken our sweet city by storm, and our encounter with one was nothing short of magical. The time and care someone put into this tiny piece of art—simply to put a smile on a strangers’ face—is remarkable. As a gal who loved to play with dolls (what can we say, existing within a fantasy world has always been our MO) we found this small token to fairies simply charming. The greatest compliment I receive is from someone who tells me they wear their CMD piece when they’re happy, when they’re excited, when they’re elated. The creator of this little fairy door, all the way down to its bike rack and swimming pool, brought me a similar joy. Keep it weird, San Francisco. We love you just the way you are.
