Living in the Present: NY NOW

As hoped for (and anticipated), NYNOW was a revolutionary experience. Being surrounded by so many creative artisans was exactly the refreshment I needed after a flurry of preparation in the leading weeks.  Walking through the many grand rooms of the event was awe inspiring.  This is THE place to be for those looking to fill their shops with the most beautiful elements of design and style.

My lovely little booth #9004 nestled in the Javits Convention Center was an oasis of laughter, smiles, discovery and exploration. The building itself is incredible, spanning three New York City blocks, but the true gems line inside.

One of the best things about working on the east coast is, naturally, the support of my family including my mom and sister. My glowing sister, Shannon accompanied me to NY NOW and her help came in many forms, both physical and mental. Sharing this show with her was a wonderful, special memory and I couldn’t be more lucky to have her on my East Coast CMD Team.  Shannon is now officially my new Wholesale Accounts Manager.

Alas, all good things must come to an end. Clearly I was willing to stay and work for a few more days (I don’t look exhausted to you, do I?!). In seriousness, NYNOW was all I dreamt of and more. My moments in New York were sweet, and I’m back to San Francisco filled with inspiration and vigor. I can’t wait to show you all what CMD has up its sleeve next!
