Comfort, Mission Style

Lots of neighborhood friends help keep CMD whistling during the week (we’ve spent some serious time with the lovely folks at the post office, for one). One of our favorite things about keeping our showroom and studio in the Mission district of San Francisco is the sense of community among local shopkeepers and patrons alike. There are so many spots we could rave about, but Mission Pie (just a quick jaunt down the street from the CMD headquarters) is undoubtedly one of our very favorite eateries in SF. The instant you walk in the door, the cozy ambiance washes over you. Even if it’s your first visit, the incredible staff makes you feel like you’re family. They pride themselves on using local, organic, only-in-season ingredients, and their soups and salads are out of this world. If sweets are more your style, Mission Pie is guaranteed to have something perfect for you, too.
