CMD Baubles Are the New Black

Undeniably cool, sophisticated and edgy, universally flattering…look how much CMD and the color black have in common!  Black is back (let’s be honest, it’s never gone anywhere) in the form of skinny jeans, billowy tops, cropped jackets, leather boots; you name it. I must admit to a black-heavy wardrobe that happens to pair perfectly with my layers upon layers of jewelry.  Black can be like a blank canvas, the perfect back drop for your next stellar look.  Now that you are in all black, let’s get you draped in some CMDs, honey!

Speaking of layering – give it a try! The contrast between silver and gold is so striking with a solid black ensemble, and it’s easy to layer multiple pieces without it seeming like too much. Try pairing these mixed metal hoop earrings with this bangle, or wear a long and short necklace at the same time. Black gives you the freedom to keep adding pieces to create completely different looks.

While I love black clothing, I am also a big fan of short, dark nails. I absolutely adore a fresh dark manicure with multiple mixed CMD rings sprinkling across my fingers.
